JASON RAPOFF BLOWN VH COMMODORE BURNOUT CAR ‘PARALINES’

We chat to Jason Rapoff, the bloke behind the hand-operated PARALINES VH Commodore burnout car

WEST Australian Jason Rapoff has burst onto the burnout scene after debuting his matte-black blown and injected VH Commodore at Summernats earlier this year. The car packs an 8/71 blown 416-cube LS combo, but what makes this skid rig unique is that it’s operated by the wheelchair-bound Jason who uses hand controls to operate the throttle and brakes.

This year was Jason’s first Summernats experience and it looks like he’ll be back again for ‘Nats 30 after picking up a golden ticket to the Burnout Masters at the Perth Motorplex’s Good Fryday comp earlier this year. We caught up with Jason at Gazzanats Darwin to have a chat about his car, plans for the rest of the year, and his first time at Summernats.
