RYAN Pearson gave his supercharged Chevy-powered HT Premier a solid thrashing at UBC #7, with his son in the passenger seat.

At this point Ryan thought he was just qualifying for the finals, but after the rain came down his qualifying run became his final run and the black Premier scored enough points to finish third overall.

It was a solid performance from the New South Welshman, and while others were sliding off the track and bouncing off the limiter, Ryan kept his cool and delivered constant revs from start to finish.

It’s also cool to see a blown V8 still sporting carbies when almost everyone else has made the jump to methanol injection. Old-school rules!
