CHRIS Genter’s FROMHELL Commodore lived up to its name at Tread Cemetery on the weekend after a transmission line split and shot flammable transmission fluid all over the hot exhaust.

The result was an epic fireball that threatened to consume the car but thankfully the fire crew were quick to the scene.

Chris was relatively happy with his burnout afterwards, but reckons he’ll be replacing the offending line with braided hose to stop it from ever happening again. He also plans to fix the rev limiter which stopped him from revving the stout big block over 5500rpm.

We’re sure to see some hellish burnouts when this car realises its full potential.
