TRADITIONALLY winter has been a quiet time for burnouts, but this weekend Sydney Dragway is set to fire up for Brashernats 2015.

Each year Brashernats Sydney seems to get bigger and better, and with over 40 blown cars heading to the harbour city on Sunday, 2015 is looking to be the biggest ever. The all-star field includes UCSMOKE, ULEGAL, T4TUFF, WONAGO, FEAR, 1TUFHG, BLWNLUX, SKIDMA, HOLDON, SICKO, KILLA-B, LSONE, LYNCHY and many more. The weather looks good too, with predictions for a mostly sunny day in the low 20s, which will be great for the show ’n’ shine display.

Brashernats is also part of the National Burnout Masters and there will be three Masters qualifying spots up for grabs (the top two from the blown class and first in the naturally aspirated class).

The event will be shown on free-to-air TV in a few weeks, but it’s certainly more fun being there. So check it out this Sunday 7 June; gates open at 8am, burnouts start at 10am. Adults $30, kids $15 and it’s free for those under 12. Make sure you’re there for your winter dose of burning rubber.

Just to get you excited, here’s all the action from the finals last year.
