CHOOSING just one car from a show the size of Meguiars’ MotorEx is an almost-impossible task, so here are the second lot of ten cars that caught my eye, did something different or were just plain cool!

Motorex15 018IT is hard to make a Mustang stand out from the crowd, but Michael Sande’s ’65 fastback did just that, with a super-tasteful interior and a stunning engine bay.

Motorex15 055MIKE Renfrey didn’t just build his own hot rod, he fabricated the body from steel! Power is supplied by a 350 Chev, with a TH700 auto and Jag rear. Mike won the Hot Rod Pinnacle Award in the Street Elite class.

Motorex15 109TONY Morphett’s ’69 Mustang features a stunning metal flake paint job that took out a gold medal for Paintwork. Under the hood is a 427ci Windsor, backed by a TKO-600 five-speed.

Motorex15 129WE loved this pert little Model A roadster. All class!

Motorex15 157WE don’t often loose our minds over four cylinder Ford Escorts, but this one did it for us! Dave Fitzsimmon’s Mark 1 has it all going on, style-wise, and is powered by a Ford Focus ZETEC mill.

Motorex15 212JOHN Churchill’s ’57 nails the low and slow look to perfection. Great trim and engine bay too!

Motorex15 249
GARY and Debbie Moore’s ’55 Ford sedan delivery was sitting right in front of the Street Machine stand and we fell in love with it. Powered by a 363ci Windsor, it looks a treat in House of Kolor Gamma Gold, with contrasting cream roof.

Motorex15 256WE didn’t get this dude’s name, but we loved the Simmons rims and massive turbo hanging off the side of his sports bike!

Motorex15 014JOHN Saad’s RX3 took out the big one in the Superstars class, making it two years in a row that a rotary-powered car has done the job.

Motorex15 050ANTHONY and Matt Newman’s EH Holden still looks stunning and must be one hell of a car to drive, with an Harrop Hurricane-equipped LS2, manual ‘box and full on pro touring underpinnings.
