EVERY NOW and again we come across a car that just blows our minds and Don Montgomery’s ’69 Plymouth Valiant is one such ride.

Built by the Greening Auto Company in Nashville, Tennessee, this sunburnt Valiant may not have the prettiest paint or shiniest chrome, but it’s packed full of coolness.

Up front there’s a modern 6.4-litre Hemi V8 disguised as an old school 50’s donk with custom throttle bodies and well over 500 horsepower. The detail work continues through into the custom wheels, unique brown leather trim, customised bumpers and ‘Pissed Off’ badges.

If you’re wondering why it’s called Pissed Off, well, Don reckon it’s the car’s attitude. “If you’d been left to rot in the Arizona sun for 45 years, wouldn’t you be?”
