HOLDEN VH COMMODORE

JAN 2017

WHILE the rest of the world is busy swapping LS engines into everything, Brenden ‘Bubba’ Medlyn stuck with the good old Holden V8 for his VH Commodore.

He hit up Craig Bennett at Torque Power for a Little Paw cast-iron Holden V8 block, and had Glenn Wells Engines handle the powerplant from start to finish.

Glenn came up with a 370ci package running twin turbos, and the combo makes 1352hp at the treads! Bubba’s faith in the Aussie bent-eight was rewarded with the overall win at Street Machine Drag Challenge 2016, where he ran low eights all week. Who needs an LS?
