The story to here:
Street Machine Drag Challenge is back for 2024, and it’s going to be a big one! This year, the event will start and finish at Calder Park Raceway, calling in at Mildura’s Sunset Strip, Dragway at the Bend in Adelaide and Heathcote Park Raceway along the way. It is the ultimate test for your street car and the most fun you can have on four wheels!
To give our spectators a stack of extra entertainment, we’ll be hosting a Summernats Pro Burnouts qualifying round dubbed Rods Out #1 at The Bend after racing finishes on Friday afternoon, followed by Rods Out #2 that will run side-by-side with the racing under lights at Heathcote Park on Saturday night. The entry list is stuffed with legends, including Mick Brasher, Mark Schwarz, Chris Orchard and many more! You can suss out everyone who has entered here. And once racing is over on Sunday, our new VIP Grudge Challenge will see a group of specially invited tough street cars take on any Drag Challenge competitors who still haven’t had enough racing! That will keep everyone entertained before the awards presentation, along with a racers’ barbecue and music.
Entries sold out quickly, with over 220 cars ready to rock. You can check out the full entry list here.
