DAY two of Drag Challenge at South Coast Raceway has been even more hectic than yesterday at Calder Park. The big news is Louis Younis is likely out of the competition after shattering a piston in his small-block Chev running a 150-shot of Nitrous. He’s hoping to buy a second-hand small-block off the Internet and have it in the LJ Torana in time for racing tomorrow at Sunset Strip in Mildura. He’s officially out of the competition, but he’s still hoping to have some fun and follow Drag Challenge to the end.

Quentin Feast raced after stuffing the transmission in his Torana yesterday ran second fastest for the day with a 5.3-second eighth mile behind Terry Seng who ran a 5.2. The MPW boys dialed some more boost into Brendan Cherry’s HQ and he came close to a 5-second pass after massive mechanical dramas all week.

After pulling some good wheelies and making some fast passes at Calder, Adam Rogash’s Clubsport was on song at the eighth-mile Portland track today running a 5.3 @ 135mph – third fastest for the day. Stay tuned for Scotty’s full debrief video.
