ONE of the best little shows in Oz is the annual Kandos Street Machine and Hot Rod Show, held every Australia Day weekend.

If you haven’t heard of Kandos, don’t beat yourself up. With a population of under 1500 bods, Kandos is tucked away on the Bylong Valley Way, about 90km north west of Bathurst, NSW. Despite the town’s relative obscurity, the show attracts a great field of cars that come out to play on the burnout pad, the dyno and the show ‘n’ shine.
