MRBADQ WINS NORTHERN NATS BURNOUTS

Ross Heasley wins the Northern Nats burnout comp in the MRBADQ HQ Monaro with three killer burnouts

ROSS Heasley has done it again! A few weeks after winning Lardner Park Motor Fest, he stuck the MRBADQ Monaro on a truck up to Cairns for Northern Nats to skid it out for $20,000 and came out on top.

The winner of the inaugural Northern Nats at Springmount Raceway was decided by totalling the scores from three burnouts across the three-day event. So consistency and reliability was key. The blown carburettor HQ was one of a handful of the burnout regulars that went drama-free for the whole event and Ross pedalled the thing hard.

He had some tough competition to beat too with MELTEM, FEAR, LSONE and SICKO putting in killer skids, and incredibly, all ended up finishing on equal points, with Ross just ahead.

It must’ve been the good luck charm Ross had aboard MRBADQ on Saturday night – none other than politician Bob Katter! Check out the video and see if you can spot him in the passenger seat.
