With red smoke pouring from the back tyres, the 6.0-litre LS2 engine sings a merry tune as Dom pushes it to the limit during Friday’s burnout qualifying.

But that was just a bit of practice before LITMUP had a crack at the Burnout Masters on Saturday. The HZ was looking good to make the Top 10, until throttle linkage issues cut Dom’s burnout short.

Dom also likes to get the bright orange Holden out on the drag strip, where it runs low 10s over the standing quarter.

Yep, Dom’s Kingswood is a versatile machine, and it just goes to show how much punishment the LS-style engines can take.
