This is my pride and joy! My XW GT took about two years to build, all carried out in my two-car garage, including the bodywork, paint and assembly. Blood, sweat and tears are part of every build, but with this one I lost a half a finger!

The car now has a solid heartbeat thanks to a 393 Cleveland with a hydraulic-roller cam, CHI 2V heads and a TFC intake. It pushes out around 620hp through a fully manualised C10 and nine-inch. Wheels are Center Line Auto Drags all ’round – 5.5-inch fronts and 8.5-inch rears with a 255 tyre.

The suspension is relatively standard with the exception of Lovells shocks, while brakes are Ford XE discs up front and EL discs on the rear. Paint is PPG Acrylic Wild Violet. Interior trim is standard XW GT in Parchment White vinyl, with Auto Meter Sport Comp II gauges in the dash fascia.
